Yeah, so, my head is shaved bald once again, but I'm still growing a beard (which is actually kind of stupid, considering it's, like, 115 degrees outside in Phoenix).

"Epic Tales..." #1 is free, online!

As I've said before, the vast majority of my old mini-comics are being posted online, and seeing as I am down to the last copy of the 1st issue of "Epic Tales..." (which debuted in March of 2006), I've decided to stop reprinting it and offer all 21 pages to read for free, online.

Derrick, if you see this strip, I just wanted to explain something about it to you;
You see, while it may appear that I accidentally drew you as playing bass left-handed, I actually did it on purpose. The image of you playing left handed is a clue to the reader that the comic takes place in a parallel universe, a universe very similar to the one we live in, except for the fact that you play bass left-handed, rather than with your right.

It's a subtle distinction, but one worth noting.

Sketch Cards

I'll have a new strip up this afternoon, after I get off of work. Until then, here's a couple of 'sketch cards' I worked on while the computer was on the fritz. I might make these kinds of things available for purchase once I start re-working the "Buy MiniComix" online store, but I don't know... it's not like I really sell all that many comics to begin with.

Nothing New

There will hopefully be some new strips up in a couple days. We got our computer fixed, but I'm having trouble finding my pirated copy of 'Photoshop', so I'm probably gonna have to track down another. Two steps forward, one step back.

Old stuff is new again... again!!

Because I'm grumpy and tired, I decided to forgo drawing a strip today, and to instead rehash old stuff no one cares about! "First Bite: The Prequel to Zomburrito" was a 6 page minicomic I put out in Oct. 2006, just prior to a screening of a short film (that I participated in 'making', kinda) @ that year's "International Horror and SciFi Film Festival".
